L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-09032024-252782 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1106] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, MARCH 8, 2024/PHALGUNA 18, 1945 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 5th March, 2024 S.O. 1168(E).—Whereas by notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways number S.O. 280(E) dated 20th January 2021, the Central Government has authorised National Highway Authority of India (hereinafter referred to as the "Authority") to collect, either through its officials or through a contractor for the use of the stretch Muzaffarnagar-Haridwar section from design kilometer 166.000 to kilometer 209.120 (existing km 166.000 to km 211.000) of National Highway number 58 ( New NH-334) in the State of Uttarakhand (hereinafter referred to as the "said section"). And whereas the Authority has now taken up the work of Construction/ Extension of Dudhadhari Elevated Flyover including approaches on said section from Km.206.400 to Km. 208.320 of NH-58 in the state of Uttarakhand on EPC Mode. In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), read with Rule 3 of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules 2008, the Central Government hereby makes following amendment in the Notification published vide S.O. 280(E), dated 20th January 2021 in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) (hereinafter referred to as the “said notification"), namely:- (1). in para - 2 of the said notification:- i. for the net road section length of 24.471 km, the net road section length of 22.651 Km shall be substituted. ii. for the phrase "equivalent structure length (having length more than 60m) of 19.00 km (having length of 1.900 km)", the following phrase shall be substituted: "equivalent structure length (having length more than 60m) of 37.20 km (having length of 3.720 km)" (2). for the length of "24.471 Km" mentioned in column (2) of Table -2 under Sl. No. 1 of the said notification, the length of "22.651 Km" shall be substituted. (3). in Sl. No. 11 of the said notification, the following shall be substituted: - "11. The estimated capital cost of the project is Rupees 2680 crore. The capital cost is subjected to variation as the activities of land acquisition, utility shifting, tree cutting, etc. are yet to be completed.
