Detailed Summary

The Bureau of Indian Standards, under the Department of Consumer Affairs, issued a notification on July 3, 2025, with reference HQ-PUB013/1/2020-PUB-BIS (1279). This notification, published in New Delhi, is made in pursuance of Sub-rule (1) of Rule (15) of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018. It formally establishes new Indian Standards, the particulars of which are detailed in the annexed schedule. Specifically, IS 18112: 2025, titled "Digital Television Receiver for Satellite Broadcast Transmission — Specification (First Revision)", was established on June 30, 2025, and will concurrently replace IS 18112: 2022, which is set to be withdrawn on December 30, 2025. Additionally, IS 19319: 2025, titled "Internet of Things - Security and Privacy - Assessment and Evaluation", was also established on June 30, 2025, with no prior standard to be withdrawn.
