The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department of Commerce), through the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, issued Public Notice No. 06/2025-26 on 7th May, 2025 (F.No. 01/82/0005/AM-26/DES-III) under the powers conferred by paragraphs 1.03 and 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy-2023 as amended. The notice makes amendments in the Standard Input Output Norms (SION) A-1294. Specifically, for the export product Di-Ethyl Phthalate (DEP) (1 kg), the description of the import item at Sl. No. 2 in SION A-1294 is amended from "Ethanol" to "Denatured Ethyl Alcohol", while the allowed quantity remains 0.435 kg. The import item at Sl. No. 1, Phthalic Anhydride (0.700 kg), remains unchanged. This amendment in the description of the import item at Sl. No. 2 under SION A-1294 is effective immediately.
