The Employees' State Insurance Corporation, through a notification dated 21st April, 2025 (F.No. N-17011/1/Nagaland/2025-P&D), has fixed the 1st May, 2025 as the date from which medical benefit, as laid down in Regulation 95-A of the Employees' State Insurance (General) Regulations, 1950, shall be extended to the families of insured persons. This action is taken by the Director General in pursuance of powers conferred by Section 46(2) of the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948), read with Regulation 95-A. The extension applies to all areas within the notified districts of Dimapur, Kohima, Mokokchung, Chumukedima, Niuland, Tseminyu, Wokha, and Zunheboto in the State of Nagaland.
