Detailed Summary

The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA), vide Notification F. No. PFRDA-01/13/13/0004/2025-PAC. dated January 5, 2026, has reconstituted the Pension Advisory Committee. This action is taken in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 45 of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 2013 (Act 23 of 2013), and in terms of sub-regulation 4 of regulation 6 of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (Pension Advisory Committee Meetings) Regulations, 2015. This reconstitution supersedes the committee constituted earlier vide Gazette Notification dated 19th May, 2022, and is effective from the date of this notification. The reconstituted committee includes representatives from the Department of Personnel & Training, Department of Expenditure (Ministry of Finance), Department of Posts, Ministry of Defence, Department of Finance (Government of Madhya Pradesh), Chief Executive-Indian Banks' Association, Chairman-NPS Trust, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officers of SBI Pension Funds Private Limited, Axis Pension Fund Management Limited, and Protean eGov Technologies Limited, Director-National Institute of Bank Management, President-Institute of Actuaries of India, Chief Executive Officer-Fixed Income Money Market and Derivatives Association of India, and Chairman-CII-National Committee on Insurance & Pensions. Additionally, Dr. M.S. Sahoo, Shri Dhirendra Kumar, and Ms Chitra Jayasimha are included as members. The Chairperson and Members of the Authority shall serve as ex officio Chairperson and ex officio members of the Pension Advisory Committee.
