In exercise of powers conferred by Clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways No. S.O. 1701(E) dated 17th July 2008, Published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub Section (ii), dated 17th July 2008- namely: In the Schedule to the said Notification S.O. 1701(E) For the words and brackets "District Revenue Officer, Dindigul" at 1st Para,the words "Special District Revenue Officer, Land Acquisition, National Highways, Madurai” shall be substituted.
