This notification, G.S.R. 18(E), issued by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways on January 6, 2025, announces the appointment of Shri Pradeep Kumar Roy as an Ex-officio Member of the Board of Mormugao Port Authority. This appointment, made by the Central Government, is effective immediately and will remain until further orders. It is issued in pursuance of sub-section 1(e) of Section 3 of the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021 and supersedes a prior notification G.S.R. No. 182(E) dated March 14, 2023. Shri Roy, currently serving as Director at the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, replaces Shri H.N. Aswath, who previously held the position as Development Adviser (Ports) at the same ministry.
