This notification, G.S.R. 738(E), issued by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (PHRD Division) on October 7, 2025, announces the appointment of Shri M.T. Krishna Babu, IAS, Special Chief Secretary to Government, Department of Infrastructure and Investment (FAC). He is appointed as a representative of the State Government on the Board of Visakhapatnam Port Authority. This appointment is made in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section 1 of Section 3 and specifically under Section 3 (1)(c)(i) of the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021. It supersedes the previous Notification G.S.R. No. 168 (E) dated March 10, 2025, also issued by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways (PHRD Division). Shri M.T. Krishna Babu replaces Shri N. Yuvaraj, IAS, Secretary to Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, Infrastructure & Investment Department, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, with immediate effect and until further orders.
