Secy., has announced that the Central Government, exercising powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026 (8 of 2026), appoints July 15, 2026, as the effective date. On this date, provisions of the said Act pertaining to serial number 14 and related entries in its Schedule, specifically those concerning the Road Transport Corporations Act, 1950 (64 of 1950), shall come into force.
