NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 3rd January, 2025
G.S.R. 5(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (2) of
section 25 of the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and
Adjoining Areas Act, 2021 (29 of 2021), the Central Government hereby makes the following
rules to amend the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and
Adjoining Areas (Allowance payable to the Member, other than ex officio Member of the Sub-
Committees) Rules, 2023, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital
Region and Adjoining Areas (Allowance payable to the Member, other than ex officio Member of
the Sub-Committees) Amendment Rules, 2024.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining
Areas (Allowance payable to the Member, other than ex officio Member of the Sub-Committees)
Rules, 2023, in rule 2,-
(1) For the words, brackets, letter and figures “The Member under clause (d) of sub-section (2),
clause (d) of sub-section (3) and clause (d) of sub-section (4) of section 11”, the words, brackets,
letter and figures “The members of the sub-committee, other than ex-officio members under sub-
section (6) of section 11" shall be substituted;
(2) The following proviso shall be inserted, namely:-
"Provided that any member of the Sub-Committee, other than ex-officio member, who is
paid any allowance by their organisations for attending the meeting of the Sub-Committee shall
not be entitled to reimbursement of traveling allowance and daily allowance from the
Commission.".
