The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, vide S.O. 5225(E) dated 4th December 2024 (F. No. NHAI/11013/LA/3(a)-Notif/2021/PIU-Raebareilly/3D), recorded that following its earlier notification S.O. 5261(E) dated 11th December 2023 issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) declaring intention to acquire land for building (widening/four-laning), maintenance, management and operation of the Ayodhya Bypass (comprising the Northern Ayodhya Bypass from Km 112+540 to Km 139+928 and the Southern Ayodhya Bypass from Km 112+540 to Km 153+281 of NH-27) in Basti district, Uttar Pradesh, and after publication of the substance of that notification in "The Indian Express" and "Jansatta" on 29th December 2023 under section 3A(3), with no objections received, the Central Government, upon receipt of the Competent Authority's report, declared under sub-section (1) of section 3D of the Act that the land specified in the annexed Schedule shall be acquired for the said purpose, and under sub-section (2) of section 3D that such land shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances, upon publication; the Schedule lists 36 land parcels totalling 2.1693 hectares of government and private (mostly agricultural) land across the villages of Godsara Tiwari, Ekamahirniya T. Belwa and Ramahatiya in Harraiya taluk, Basti district, Uttar Pradesh, together with the names of the landowners; the notification was signed by Abhay Jain, Director.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-05122024-259170 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4832] | NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2024/AGRAHAYANA 13, 1946 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 4th December, 2024 S.O. 5225(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, S.O. 5261(E) Dated 11 December, 2023, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intension to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for building (widening/four-laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation of Ayodhya Bypass (Northern Ayodhya Bypass starting at Km 112+540 and ending at Km 139+928 of NH-27 and Southern Ayodhya Bypass starting at Km 112+540 and ending at Km 153+281 of NH-27) in the stretch of land from Km 112+540 to Km 153+281 of NH-27 in district of BASTI in the state of UTTAR PRADESH; And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “The Indian Express" and "Jansatta" both dated 29 December, 2023; under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas no objection has been received from any person by the Competent Authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
