NATIONAL BANK FOR AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th May, 2026
No. NB.HRMD.PPD/SA-10/2024-25.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1), read with
clause (j) of sub-section (2) of section 60 of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Act, 1981 (61
of 1981), the Board of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, with the previous approval of the
Central Government and in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, hereby makes the following regulations
further to amend the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Pension Regulations, 1993, namely :-
1. Short title & commencement.- (1) These regulations may be called the National Bank for Agriculture and
Rural Development Pension (Amendment) Regulations, 2026.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Pension Regulations, 1993 (hereinafter referred
to as the said regulations), in regulation 3, in sub-regulation (1), after the figures and words "01 November
1993", the words and figures “and before 1st January, 2012” shall be inserted.
3. In the said regulations, in regulation 6, in sub-regulation (1), in clause (b), for the figures "3,500/-”, the
figures "9,000/-" shall be substituted.
4. In the said regulations, in regulation 7, for the figures “3,500/-”, the figures “9,000/-” shall be substituted.
5. In the said regulations, in regulation 27, in sub-regulation (2), for the figures “3,500/-”, the figures “9,000/-”
shall be substituted.
6. In the said regulations, in regulation 28, for the figures “3,500/-", the figures “9,000/-” shall be substituted.
7. In the said regulations, in regulation 32, for sub-regulation (5), the following sub-regulation shall be
substituted, namely: -
"(5) From the date of 1st March 2019, the ordinary rate of family pension shall be thirty per cent of pay,
subject to a minimum of rupees 9,000/- per month.
Explanation.- In the case of a part-time employee, the minimum and maximum amount of family
pension shall be in proportion to the rate of wages applicable."
