S.O. 2149(E) substitutes serial number 20 in the Schedule of the principal notification, directing that functions relating to the execution of works for specific National Highways (NH-3, NH-07, NH-148B, NH-154, NH-254, NH-354, NH-354E, NH-503 Extn., NH-703, NH-703A, NH-703B, NH-754, and NH-703AA), as situated within the State of Punjab (with specified exclusions), shall be exercisable by the State Government of Punjab. S.O. 2150(E) substitutes serial number 9 in the Schedule of the principal notification, directing that functions for specific National Highways (NH-20, NH-20A, NH-21A, NH-22, NH-70, NH-72, NH-72B, NH-73A, new NH-305, new NH-503, new NH-503 Extn, new NH-503A, new NH-505A, new NH-705, and new NH-907A), as situated within the State of Himachal Pradesh (with specified exclusions and inclusions, and excluding stretches entrusted to Border Road Development Board), shall be exercisable by the State Government of Himachal Pradesh. Both State Governments are bound to comply with the rules in force under the National Highways Act, 1956.
