Detailed Summary

The Bureau of Indian Standards, under the Department of Consumer Affairs, issued a Corrigendum dated 29th April, 2025. This Corrigendum amends a previous Notification of the Government of India issued under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (Department of Consumer Affairs), published in Part III, Section 4 of the Gazette of India. The amendment is made in pursuance of sub-rule (1) of Rule 15 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018. The specific notification being amended is Ref no. HQ-PUB013/1/2020-PUB-BIS (1056) dated 09 October 2024 (Published on 18 October 2024). The amendment directs that in Sl No. 02, 04 and 05, column (5) of the schedule to the said notification, '08 October 2025' shall be substituted for '08 April 2025'.
