L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4590] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY , NOVEMBER 3, 2023/ KARTIKA 12, 1945 CG-DL-E-04112023-249873 1 2 3 4 5 6 20/2 106/1 113/1 114/1 615/73/2 686/71/2/1 687/71/1 688/71/1 72/2/1 77/3 81/2/1 92/1 93/1 95/1 626/2/1 50/1/1 [फा. सं. 11014/10/2018/PIU -HMR/5/3D ] MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 3rd November , 2023 S.O. 4 778(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Tr ansport and Highways, 2077 Dated:03/05/2023 , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub - section (ii) issued under sub -section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the s aid Act), the Central Government declared its intension to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for building (widening/four -laning, etc. ), maintenance, management and operation of NH503 in the stretch of land from Km. 173.2 to Km. 193.407 (Kangra) in the district of KANGRA in the state of HIMACHAL PRADESH Whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “Divya Himachal ” and “ The Times of India ” both dated 25/05/2023 ; under sub -section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; Whereas objections have been received and the same have been considered and disallowed by the Competent Authority; Whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in the exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of se ction 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
