ORDER
New Delhi, the 4th September, 2025
S.O. 4066(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 read with section 17 and sub-section (3) of
Section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government, being of the opinion
that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest and after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards,
hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Textiles — High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)/Polypropylene
(PP) Woven Sacks for Packaging of 50 kg Cement (Quality Control) Order, 2023, namely: -
1. (1) This Order may be called the Textiles — High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)/ Polypropylene (PP) Woven
Sacks for Packaging of 50 kg Cement (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2025.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Textiles — High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)/Polypropylene (PP) Woven Sacks for Packaging of 50 kg
Cement (Quality Control) Order, 2023, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2), the following sub-paragraph shall be
substituted, namely:
"(2) It shall come into force on the 6th day of January, 2026".

Note: The Textiles — High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)/Polypropylene (PP) Woven Sacks for Packaging of 50 kg
Cement (Quality Control) Order, 2023 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,
Sub-section (ii), vide notification number S.O. 5178(E), dated the 6th December, 2023 and subsequently amended vide
notification numbers S.O. 2181(E), dated the 4th June, 2024, S.O. 3938(E), dated the 13th September 2024,
S.O. 5261(E), dated the 6th December, 2024 and S.O. 2551(E), dated the 11th June, 2025.

(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Textiles Polypropylene (PP) Woven, Laminated, Block Bottom Valve Sacks for Packaging of 50 kg
Cement (Quality Control) Order, 2023, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2), the following sub-paragraph shall be

Woven Sacks for Mail Sorting, Storage, Transport and Distribution (Quality Control) Second Amendment
Order, 2025.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Textiles Polypropylene (PP)/ High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Laminated Woven Sacks for Mail
Sorting, Storage, Transport and Distribution (Quality Control) Order, 2023, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2), the
following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely:
"(2) It shall come into force on the 6th day of January, 2026".
