5651 GI/202 4 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3450] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY , SEPTEMBER 3, 2024 /BHADRA 12, 194 6 CG-DL-E-04092024-256901 1 2 3 4 5 6 Total 0.3385 [फा. सं. 12037/28/2017 -MAH(P -6)/3D ] MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 3rd September , 2024 S.O. 3780 (E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transpo rt and Highways number S.O. 470(E) dated 2 February 2024, Published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub -section (ii) issued under sub -section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred t o as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for construction of Toll plaza maintenance, management and operation of National Highway No. NH548E Mhasward -Piliv -Pandharpur Road on the stretch of land form Km. 98.65 to Km. 141.600 (Deputy Collector Land Acquisition 11, central Buildings, First Floor, A section, Solapur ) in SOLAPUR district in the State of MAHARASHTRA. And whereas the substance of the s aid notification has been published in "The Indian Express" (English), "Sakal" (Marathi) both on dated 23 February 2024 and 7 March 2024 under sub -section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas objections have been received and the same have been considered and disallowed by the competent authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And furthe r, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Governm ent, free from all encumbrances.
