The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, through Notification S.O. 3564(E) dated July 1, 2026, has declared its intention to acquire land for public purpose. This action is taken in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956). The land, located in the Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu, is required for the construction of a flyover from Km 3/0- 5/4 of NH 181 at Singanallur junction in Coimbatore City, and for the permanent rectification of blackspots at Vasantha Mill Junction (TN 02-0247) and Uzhavar Santhi Junction (TN 02-575) under an EPC mode. Any interested person may object to this acquisition within twenty-one days from the notification's publication date in the Official Gazette, as per sub-section (1) of section 3C of the said Act. Objections must be made in writing to the Competent Authority, identified as SDRO,LA,NH,Coimbatore, who will provide an opportunity for a hearing and may, after inquiry, allow or disallow the objections. Any order issued by the Competent Authority under sub-section (2) of section 3C of the Act shall be final. Details of the land to be acquired, which includes both private and government non-agriculture land in Uppilipalayam and Singanallur villages of Coimbatore South Taluk, totaling 0.14756 hectares, are available for inspection at the Competent Authority's office.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-04072026-274082 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3429] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, JULY 1, 2026/ASHADHA 10, 1948 4920 GI/2026 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 1st July, 2026 S.O. 3564(E).— In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the Schedule below, is required for Construction of Flyover from Km 3/0- 5/4 of NH 181 at Singanallur junction in Coimbatore City, Including permanent rectification of blackspot in Vasantha Mill Junction (TN 02-0247)and Uzhavar Santhi Junction (TN 02-575) on EPC mode in the district of COIMBATORE in the state of TAMIL NADU, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may, within twenty-one days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, object to the use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section(1) of section 3C of the said Act. Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority, namely, SDRO,LA,NH,Coimbatore in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the Competent Authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner, and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the Competent Authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections. Any order made by the Competent Authority under sub-section (2) of section 3C of the said Act shall be final. The land plans and other details of the land to be acquired under their notification are available and can be inspected by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the Competent Authority.
