L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-04062026-273146 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2760] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, JUNE 4, 2026/JYAISTHA 14, 1948 4023 GI/2026 (1) THE GAZETTE OF INDIA: EXTRAORDINARY [PART II-SEC. 3(ii)] MINISTRY OF PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 4th June, 2026 S.O. 2854(E). - Whereas, the Central Government had issued notification S.O. 1630(E) dated 29th March, 2026 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), for facilitating distribution of Public Distribution System Superior Kerosene Oil (PDS SKO) in PDS SKO free States/UTs for cooking and lighting purposes only; And whereas, the circumstances necessitating the said notification continue to exist and it is considered necessary in public interest to continue the exemptions and permissions granted therein for a further period; Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Petroleum Act, 1934 (30 of 1934) read with rule 201 of the Petroleum Rules, 2002, the Central Government hereby extends the validity of the said notification Number S.O. 1630(E), dated the 29th March, 2026, till 30.06.2026 or till further order, whichever is earlier, on the same terms and conditions contained therein.
