The Ministry of Communications (Department of Telecommunications) issued Notification S.O. 5563(E) on 2nd December, 2025, formally notifying the ‘Telecom eServices Portal'. This action is taken by the Central Government in pursuance of section 53 of the Telecommunications Act, 2023 (44 of 2023), read with sub-rule (1) of rule 10 of the Telecommunications (Telecom Cyber Security) Rules, 2024. The purpose of this portal is to enable the digital implementation of the Telecommunications Act. The notification was signed by Devendra Kumar Rai, Joint Secretary.
