L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-03102024-257671 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 563] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2024/ASVINA 9, 1946 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II-SEC. 3(i)] MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department For Promotion Of Industry And Internal Trade) (CENTRAL BOILERS BOARD) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th September, 2024 G.S.R.-605(E).—The following draft regulations to amend the Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950, which the Central Boilers Board proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the Boilers Act, 1923 (5 of 1923), is hereby published as required by sub-section (1) of section 31 of the said Act for inviting objections or suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft regulations will be taken into consideration after expiry of a period of forty-five days from the date the Gazette containing the publication of this notification is made available to the public; Any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft regulations within the period so specified will be considered by the Central Boilers Board; Objections or suggestions, if any, may be addressed to the Secretary, Central Boilers Board, Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade), Room No. 126A, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi- 110 011 or sent by email at [email protected]) within the period specified above. DRAFT REGULATIONS 1. Short title and commencement.--(1) These regulations may be called the Indian Boiler (Amendment) Regulations, 2024. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950, in regulation 382, in sub- regulation (a), in the list of States and Union territories with their distinguishing letters, for the entry “Telangana TS”, the following entry shall be substituted, namely: - "Telangana TG".
