Whereas, Clause (2) of Regulation 1 of the said regulations provides that the Regulations shall come into force on such date as may be notified by the Commission separately. Whereas, notification for the commencement of the said regulations was published in Part-III, Section 4, No. 712 of the Gazette of India Extraordinary on 10.09.2024. And, now, therefore, in partial modification of the above said notification published in Part-III, Section 4, No. 712 of the Gazette of India Extraordinary on 10.09.2024, it is hereby notified that: (a) All the provisions except Clause 8 of Regulation 8 of the DSM Regulations, 2024 shall come into effect from 00.00 hours of 16.09.2024; and (b) Clause 8 of Regulation 8 of the DSM Regulations, 2024 shall, unless notified otherwise, come into effect from 00.00 hours of 01.11.2024 and until the period ending 24.00 hours of 31.10.2024, para 27 (3) (a) of the Order dated 06.02.2023 in Petition No. 01/SM/2023 shall continue to be in operation.
