4180 GI/202 3 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2745] NEW DELHI, SATUR DAY , JULY 1, 2023/ASHADHA 10, 194 5 CG-DL-E-03072023-246967 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (Railway Board) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 28th June, 2023 S.O. 2868(E).—In pursuance of sub -clause (ii) of clause (b) of sub -section (4) of section 4 of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 read with rule 5 of Aadhaar Authentication for Good Governance (Social Welf are, Innovation, Knowledge) Rules, 2020, and rule 5 of the Railway Claims Tribunal (Procedure) Rules, 1989, the Central Government, hereby notifies that the Railway Claims Tribunal is allowed to perform Aadhaar Authentication, on voluntary basis, for verif ication, including ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ authentication or e -Know Your Customer , of Litigants or Applicants or Claimants or Representatives or Victims on the e -Railway Claims Tribunal System and other integrated applications or solutions of Railway Claims Tribun al, for the purpose given below — (i) verification of Litigants or Applicants or Claimants or Representatives or Victims at time of user registration and filing of their claim applications on electronic system (e -Railway Claims Tribunal or any other) of Railway Claims Tribunal ; (ii) verification and Pre -filling of the Litigants or Applicants or Claimants or Representatives or Victims data for processing applications ; (iii) verification and Pre -filling of all data like Personal information details , Permane nt Account Number, and the like; (iv) verification of data at time of disbursement of the awarded amounts by the Railway Claims Tribunal; 2. The Railway Claims Tribunal shall adhere to the guidelines laid down by the Central Government with respect to use of Aadhaar Authentication ; and 3. This notification shall come into force with effect from the date of its publication in the Offici al Gazette. [F.
