NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 1st May, 2025
S.O. 1960(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act,
1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorizes the officers mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule
annexed here to as the competent authorities to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect
from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land specified in
corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Schedule relating to districts, tehsil, and villages mentioned in column
(5), (6) and (7) respectively of the said Schedule for building (widening / four lane etc.), Construction of a 4-lane
Western bypass for Jaunpur city, connecting NH-731 at existing Ch. Km. 223/200 to NH-135A (Eastern Bypass) at
Ch. Km. 107/780 (total length: 12.250 km) in the state of Uttar Pradesh, on EPC mode. as specified in the Schedule
given below.
