No. NHIDCL/PMU-Khliehriat/2025/LA/New NH-6 Greenfield/] MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 1st April, 2026 S.O. 1681(E). - In exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956(48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorizes the Officers mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule annexed here to as the Competent Authorities to perform the functions of such authorities under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land from design km 0+000 to km 18+930 and km 20+600 to km 21+810 in Ri-Bhoi District; from design km 35+250 to km 66+405 in West Jaintia Hills District; design km 66+220 to km 66+340 (RHS) and km 66+405 to km 147.250 in East Jaintia Hills District for Development, Maintenance, Management and Operation of Greenfield High Speed Corridor of 166.80 km (NH-6) from Mawlyngkhung (near Shillong) in Meghalaya to Panchgram (near Silchar) in Assam.
