This appointment is made by the Central Government in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section 1 (f) of Section 3 of the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021, and supersedes the Government of India's Notification G. S. R. No. 684 (E) dated 25th September 2023. The appointment is effective immediately and remains valid until the date of validity of check-off, or until the attainment of the member's age of superannuation, or until further orders, whichever occurs earliest. The appointment is subject to the provisions of the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021.

S. R. No. 684 (E) dated 25th September 2023, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Rithesh Kumar, Vice President, Canara Port Workers Union (R) (INTUC) as a member representing employees' interests on the Board of New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) with immediate effect. 2. The appointment of Member of the Board shall be subject to the provisions of the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021. The appointment is valid till the date of validity of check-off, or until the attainment of age of superannuation of the Members, or till further orders, whichever is earliest. [F.
