ORDER
New Delhi, the 1st October, 2025
S.O. 4495(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 read with sub-section (3) of section 25 of
the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government, after consulting the Bureau of Indian
Standards, being of the opinion that it is necessary so to do in the public interest, hereby makes the following Order
further to amend the Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymers (Quality Control) Order, 2022, namely:-
1. (1) This Order may be called the Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymers (Quality Control)
Amendment Order, 2025.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymers (Quality Control) Order, 2022, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2),
the following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely:—
“(2) It shall come into force on the 3rd day of October, 2026."

Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 1643(E), dated the 5th April, 2022 and
subsequently amended vide notification numbers S.O. 4597(E), dated the 29th September, 2022, S.O. 1556(E),
dated the 31st March, 2023, S.O. 4234(E), dated the 26th September, 2023, S.O. 1463(E), dated the 18th March,
2024 and S.O. 4286(E), dated the 1st October, 2024.
