The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, through Notification S.O. 2915(E) dated 1st July, 2025, has declared the Central Government's intention to acquire land for public purpose, specifically for the building (including widening, two-lane with paved shoulder, or four-laning), maintenance, management, and operation of National Highway 139W. This action is taken under the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956). The land identified for acquisition is located in the stretch from Km. 15.7 to Km. 35 (Vaishali) in the district of Vaishali, in the state of Bihar. Interested persons may object to this acquisition within twenty-one days from the notification's publication date in the Official Gazette, as per sub-section (1) of section 3C of the Act. Objections must be made in writing to the Competent Authority, identified as the DISTRICT LAND ACQUISITION OFFICER, who will provide an opportunity for a hearing. The Competent Authority's order under sub-section (2) of section 3C of the said Act shall be final. Land plans and other acquisition details are available for inspection at the Competent Authority's office. The Schedule details land parcels across villages like Bhagwanpur, Parsurampur, Jafraha, Keshopur, Munimchak, Bailka, Rukanpur, Basarh urf Vaishali, Sararia Urf Saranthi Chhapra B, Yusufpur, Etwarpur Nizamat, Jalalpur Gopi Mal, and Jalalpur urf Bishunpur Gamhir, totaling approximately 3.0849 Hectares, comprising both private and government land of various types.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-01072025-264276 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, JULY 1, 2025/ASHADHA 10, 1947 4303 GI/2025 (1) MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 1st July, 2025 S.O. 2915(E).— In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the Schedule below, is required for building (widening/two lane with paved shoulder/four laning etc.,), maintenance, management and operation of NH139W in the stretch of land from Km. 15.7 to Km. 35 (Vaishali) in the district of VAISHALI in the state of BIHAR, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may, within twenty-one days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, object to the use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section(1) of section 3C of the said Act. Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority, namely, DISTRICT LAND ACQUISITION OFFICER in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the Competent Authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner, and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the Competent Authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections. Any order made by the Competent Authority under sub-section (2) of section 3C of the said Act shall be final. The land plans and other details of the land to be acquired under their notification are available and can be inspected by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the Competent Authority.
