4145 GI/202 3 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2722] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY , JUNE 30, 2023/ASHADHA 9, 194 5 CG-DL-E-01072023-246931 1 2 3 4 5 6 [फा. सं. 11015/5/DHN/LA/Six Laning/3D ] MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AN D HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 30th June, 2023 S.O. 2845(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, number S.O.178(E) dated 10.01.2023, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary , Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) issued under sub -section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intension to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for building (widening/Six -laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation of NH2 on the stretch of land fr om Km 249.525 to Km 320.810 (Chordaha -Gorhar section) in the district of HAZARIBAGH in the state of JHARKHAND. And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “Dainik Bhaskar” and “Morning India” both dated 18.01.2023; under sub -section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas the Competent Authority has received objection from the person interested; who heard. And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted i ts report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the l and specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Ga zette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
