In Notification S.O. 5507(E) dated 29th December 2023, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways records that, pursuant to its earlier notification S.O. 2257(E) dated 23rd May 2023 issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government had declared its intention to acquire land for construction, maintenance, management and operation (widening to two-lane with paved shoulder, four-laning etc.) of NH-765D package-2 from Km. 129.000 to Km. 164.620 (per TA&FS stretch Km. 106.830 to 158.496, Job No. 765D-TS-2022-23-94, RDO-Banswada) in Kamareddy district, Telangana; the substance of that notification was published in "Namasthe Telangana" (Telugu) and "The Hindu" (English), both dated 27th July 2023, under sub-section (3) of section 3A; objections received were considered and disallowed by the Competent Authority, which submitted its report under sub-section (1) of section 3D; the Central Government, exercising powers under sub-section (1) of section 3D, now declares the Schedule land shall be acquired for the stated purpose and, under sub-section (2) of section 3D, declares that on publication the land shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances; the annexed Schedule lists individual survey/plot numbers, land types (chiefly private patta wet agricultural and government/canal land), areas in hectares, and landowners in the villages of Gunkul, Burgul and Maqdumpur (Nijamsagar and Tunkepalle taluks), Kamareddy district, Telangana.

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 29th December, 2023

S.O. 5507(E).-In Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport
and Highways, S.O. 2257(E) Dated on 23/05/2023, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section
3, Sub-section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956)
(hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in
the Schedule annexed to the said notification for construction of Toll Plaza Maintenance, management and
operation(widening to two lane with paved shoulder four laning etc.,), of NH-765D of package-2 in the stretch
of land from Km. 129.000 to Km. 164.620 {as per the TA&FS stretch of land from 106.830 to 158.496 of Job
No. 765D-TS-2022-23-94, (RDO-Banswada)} in the district of KAMAREDDY in the state of TELANGANA.

And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “Namasthe
Telangana”(Telugu) and “The Hindu”(English) both dated 27/07/2023; under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the
said Act;

And whereas objections have been received and the same have been considered and disallowed by the
competent Authority;

And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government;

Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land
specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;

And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall
vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.

Brief description of the land to be acquired, with or without structure, falling within the NH-765D of package-
2 in the stretch of land from Km 129.000 to Km 164.620 {as per the TA&FS stretch of land from 106.830 to
