L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-CG-E-30012025-260605 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 452] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, JANUARY 27, 2025/MAGHA 7, 1946 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (South East Central Railway) NOTIFICATION Bilaspur, the 22nd December, 2025 (Under section 20 (E) of Railways Act, 1989) S.O. 456(E).-Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) Notification No. 4165 dated 15.10.2024 published in the Gazette of India Ordinary Part-II, Section 3, Sub section (ii), (hereinafter referred to as said notification) under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (herein after referred to as said act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for execution of Special Railway Project, namely IB Flyover New Rail Line Project (09km) in Jharsuguda district of Odisha. And whereas the substance of the 20A notification under sub-section (1), under sub section (4) of section: 20A of the said act was published in the daily newspapers Utkal Mail Rourkela, Times of India Bhubaneswar, Sambad Kalika Bhubaneswar and Ispat Times Raigarh on dated: on 26.10.2024 respectively. Whereas no objections were received in the stipulated period from the land losers to the Competent Authority and whereas, in pursuance of sub- section (1) of Section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted his report to the Central Government. Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of the Section 20(E) of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose, and further in pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all Encumbrances.
