In exercise of powers conferred by clause 7A of section 2 of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government has authorized the Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue), Raigarh, to function as the Competent Authority. This authorization pertains to the "Construction of incomplete LHS in lieu of LC No. 297 at KM-599/18-20 between KDTR-BEF under the jurisdiction of ADEN/RIG" Special Railway Project. The project is situated in the Raigarh Taluka and District within the State of Chhattisgarh. This new designation replaces the earlier nominated Competent Authority, the Sub Divisional Officer, Kharsia, and takes effect from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
