The substance of the earlier notification was published in local newspapers, namely Navbharat (Bilaspur Edition), Dainik Bhaskar (Bilaspur Edition), and The Hitavada (Raipur Edition), on 15th May, 2026, as per sub-section (4) of Section 20A. No objections were received by the Competent Authority, which subsequently submitted its report to the Central Government under sub-section (1) of Section 20E. Upon publication of this notification, a total of 0.369 Hectare of land, comprising 0.297 Hectare of private land and 0.072 Hectare of government land in Village Tifra, Tehsil Bilaspur, District Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, will vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management, and operation of the railway project.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-CG-E-02092026-275917 EXTRAORDINARY No. 4640] PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY NEW DELHI, MONDAY, AUGUST 31, 2026/BHADRA 9, 1948 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (South East Central Railway) CORRIGENDUM Bilaspur, the 14th August, 2026 Notice under Section 20E of the Railway Act, 1989 S.O. 4827(E). - Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways (South East Central Railway), number S.O. 2172 (E),dated 30 April 2026 the published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-ii, section 3, Sub-section (ii), and issued under sub- section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (herein after referred as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of the Special Railway Project, namely construction of the "4th line between Dadhapara-Bilaspur (3.48 Km)” of south East Central Railway of Bilaspur District in the state of Chhattisgarh, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. And whereas, the substance of the said notification has been published in the daily local news papers namely, Navbharat (Bilaspur Edition), Dainik Bhaskar (Bilaspur Edition) & The Hitavada (Raipur Edition), of dated 15.05.2026, under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act, And whereas, no objection has been received by the Competent Authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government. Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the Schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose. And further, in the pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Govt. hereby declares that on publication of the notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the Schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
