The substance of the intention notification was published in daily newspapers (Deccan Herald, The new Indian Express, The Hindu) on 09.05.2026. Objections filed under Section 2, Clause 20D were received, considered, and settled by the Competent Authority, which then submitted its report to the Ministry. Upon publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the specified land, including various parcels from Survey Nos. 39/2A1 (0-05-00), 40/2 (0-02-04), 40/1B (0-04-00), 28/2 (0-01-08), 28/3 (0-01-08), Government land (Gomala) (0-08-04), and Government land (Gramthana) (0-01-04), shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-KA-E-01082026-275086 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4029] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, JULY 29, 2026/SHRAVAN 7,1948 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (South Western Railway) NOTIFICATION Hubballi, the 29th July, 2026 S.O. 4199(E).— Whereas by the notification of the Central Government (Ministry of Railway, South Western Railway, Chief Administrative Officer/Construction/ Road Safety Projects/Head Quarters/Hubballi (CAO/C/RSP/HQ/Hubballi) S.O. 2120E dated.28.04.2026 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) issued under Section 2, Clause 20A of Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (herein referred to as the said act) the Ministry of Railway, South Western Railway, CAO/C/RSP/HQ/Hubballi, declare its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for " Construction of Road Over Bridge in lieu of Level Crossing No.112 at Km: 273/100- 200 between Kamasamudram and Bisanattam stations (Kamasamdram village, Bangarpet taluk, Kolar district)"In the state of Karnataka. And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in following daily news papers (1) Deccan Herald(English),(2) The new Indian Express(English),(3) The Hindu(English),(4) Vijay Karnataka (Kannada),(5) Udayavani (Kannada),(6) Kannada Prabha (kannada), (7) Kolarvani (Kannada),and (8) Prajavani (kannada) dated 09.05.2026, under Section 2, Clause 20A of Railway Act, 1989. And whereas the Competent Authority has received objections filed under section 2, clause 20D, considered and settled the same appropriately. And whereas, in pursuance of Section 2, Clause 20E of Railway Act, 1989, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Ministry of Railway, South Western Railway, CAO/C/RSP/HQ/Hubballi. Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the Section 2, Clause 20E of Railway Act, 1989, the Ministry of Railway, South Western Railway, CAO/C/RSP/HQ/Hubballi, hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of Section 2, Clause 20E of Railway Act, 1989, the Ministry of Railway, South Western Railway, CAO/C/RSP/HQ/Hubballi hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
