LA/11013/LA/LAC MoM/2021 (E -154211) ] MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 29th August , 2024 S.O. 3670 (E).—In exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956(48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorizes the officers mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule annexed here to as the competent authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Schedule relating to district, taluk, police stations and villages mentioned in columns (4), (5), (6) and (7) respectively of the said Schedule for construction of under pass on NH -56 (New NH -31) for proposed expansion of runway of Babatpur Airport, Varanasi from Km. 268.400 to Km. 271.150 of the NH56 for building (widening / four -laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation in the State of UTTAR PRADESH .
