NOTIFICATION
Hyderabad,, the 13th March, 2025
No. TGB Service Regulations Amendment 2025.— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 30 read
with sub-section (1) of section 17 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Board of Directors of
Telangana Grameena Bank after consultation with State Bank of India, being the Sponsor Bank and the National Bank
for agriculture and Rural Development and with the previous sanction of the Central Government, hereby makes the
following regulations to further amend the Telangana Grameena Bank (Officers & Employees) Service Regulations,
2010, namely: -
1. In Regulation 2 of the Deccan (now Telangana) Grameena Bank (Officers and Employees) Service Regulations,
2010 (hereinafter referred to as the said regulations) in sub-regulation (1), for clause (g), the following clause shall be
substituted, namely :-
(g) "Competent Authority" means,-
"(i) the Chairman in respect of Officer Scale-III, IV and V;
(ii) the General Manager in respect of Officer Scale-I, II and employees Group 'B' Office Assistant (Multipurpose),
Group 'C' Office Attendant (Multipurpose).
2. In regulation 50 of the said regulations, for clauses (i) and (ii), the following clauses shall be
substituted, namely:-
(i) the Board, where the Chairman is Competent Authority;
(ii) the Chairman, where the General Manager is Competent Authority.

Note: The Telangana Grameena Bank (Officers and Employees) Service Regulations, 2010 were published in
the Gazette of India, Part III, section 4, dated the 16/10/2010, vide notification number 261 dated the
16/10/2010 and subsequently amended vide notification number 510, dated the 18/12/2018 & notification
number 849, dated the 09/09/2024.
