The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways issued notification S.O. 5135(E) dated 29 November 2024, under clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), authorizing the officers named in column (2) of the annexed Schedule as competent authorities to perform functions under the Act, with effect from the date of publication, in respect of the land stretches specified in column (3), relating to the states, districts, taluks and villages listed in columns (4) to (7). The Sub Divisional Officer, Khed, is authorized for the stretch from Km. 11.3 to Km. 63.378 (Wada Road, Rajgurunagar, Khed Taluk, Pune district, Maharashtra), for upgradation to 2-laning with paved shoulders of NH60, covering 22 listed villages including Karkudi, Kharoshi, Avhat, Wada and Chas. The Sub Divisional Officer, Ambegaon, is authorized for the stretch from Km. 2.928 to Km. 11.3 (Junnar-Ambegaon, Ambegaon Taluk, Pune district, Maharashtra), covering four villages: Nigdale, Terungan, Rajpur and Rajapur.
