By S.O. 5108(E) dated 27th November 2024, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, exercising powers under Section 3A(1) of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), declares its intention to acquire land required for building (widening/four-laning), maintenance, management and operation of NH59A from Km 63.55 to Km 95 in Dewas District, Madhya Pradesh, permits objections within twenty-one days to the Competent Authority, the Sub-Divisional Officer, Kannod, under Section 3C(1), with decisions under Section 3C(2) being final, and lists in the Schedule numerous Government and Private irrigated and unirrigated survey/plot parcels across the villages of Panigaon, Kalapatha, Bijwad, Maljipura, Hatnori and Kalwar in Kannod Taluk, totalling 9.9958 hectares; signed by Abhay Jain, Director, F. L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-28112024-258964 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4718 | NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2024/ AGRAHAYANA 6, 1946 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th November, 2024 S.O. 5108(E).— In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the Schedule below, is required for building (widening/two lane with paved shoulder/four laning etc.,), maintenance, management and operation of NH59A in the stretch of land from Km. 63.55 to Km. 95 (SDO Kannod, District - Dewas (M.P.)) in the district of DEWAS in the state of MADHYA PRADESH, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may, within twenty-one days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, object to the use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section(1) of section 3C of the said Act. Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority, namely, SDO Kannod in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the Competent Authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner, and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the Competent Authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections. Any order made by the Competent Authority under sub-section (2) of section 3C of the said Act shall be final.
