By S.O. 901(E) dated 26th February 2024, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways recorded that, following its earlier notification S.O. 4852(E) dated 8th November 2023 under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) declaring intention to acquire land for construction (widening/two-lane with paved shoulder/four-laning etc.), maintenance, management and operation of NH-727B from Km. 35+400 to 52+345 (Tamkuhiraj to Salempur Road) in Deoria district, Uttar Pradesh—whose substance was published in "Aaj (Hindi)" and "Times of India (English)" both dated 27th December 2023 under sub-section (3) of section 3A—objections were received and disallowed by the Competent Authority, whose report was submitted to the Central Government under sub-section (1) of section 3D; the Central Government, exercising powers under sub-section (1) of section 3D, hereby declares the scheduled land should be acquired, and under sub-section (2) of section 3D declares that upon publication of this notification in the Official Gazette the land vests absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances; the total scheduled area is 0.827 hectares in the district of Deoria; signed by Abhay Jain, Deputy Secretary [F. NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th February, 2024
S.O. 901(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and
Highways, 4852(E) Dated:08 November 2023, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,
Sub-section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956)
(hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in
the Schedule annexed to the said notification for construction (widening/two lane with paved Shoulder/four laning
etc.,) Maintenance, management and operation of NH-727B in the stretch of land from Km. 35+400 to 52+345 Km.
(Tamkuhiraj to Salempur Road) in the District Deoria, in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in "Aaj (Hindi)" and "Times of
India (English)” both dated 27 December 2023 under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act;
And Whereas objections have been received and The same have been considered and disallowed by The
Competent Authority;
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land
specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall
vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.

Brief description of the land to be acquired, with or without structure, falling within the NH-727B in the stretch of
land from Km. 35+400 to Km. 52+345 in (Tamkuhiraj to Salempur Road) the district of Deoria
in the state of UTTAR PRADESH.

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th February, 2024
S.O. 901(E). Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and
Highways, 4852(E) Dated:08 November 2023, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,
Sub-section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956)
(hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in
the Schedule annexed to the said notification for construction (widening/two lane with paved Shoulder/four laning
etc.,) Maintenance, management and operation of NH-727B in the stretch of land from Km. 35+400 to 52+345 Km.
(Tamkuhiraj to Salempur Road) in the District Deoria, in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in "Aaj (Hindi)" and "Times of
India (English)” both dated 27 December 2023 under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act;
And Whereas objections have been received and The same have been considered and disallowed by The
Competent Authority;
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land
specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall
vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.

S.O. 901(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and
Highways, 4852(E) Dated:08 November 2023, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,
Sub-section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956)
(hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in
the Schedule annexed to the said notification for construction (widening/two lane with paved Shoulder/four laning
etc.,) Maintenance, management and operation of NH-727B in the stretch of land from Km. 35+400 to 52+345 Km.
(Tamkuhiraj to Salempur Road) in the District Deoria, in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in "Aaj (Hindi)" and "Times of
India (English)” both dated 27 December 2023 under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act;
And Whereas objections have been received and The same have been considered and disallowed by The
Competent Authority;
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land
specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall
vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
