                Detailed Summary
            

            
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, through Notification S.O. 2025(E) dated 22nd April, 2026, declares the acquisition of land for the construction of a 2-lane to 4-lane road, and for the maintenance, management, and operation of NH921. This land is located in the stretch from Km. 0.00 to Km. 50.246 in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. This declaration follows a previous notification, S.O. 5339-E Dated: 21/11/2025, issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), which declared the Central Government's intention to acquire the land. The substance of the earlier notification was published in "The Indian Express" on 24/12/2025 and "Desh ki Udan Patrika" on 16/12/2025, as required by sub-section (3) of section 3A. Objections filed under Section 3-C were considered and settled by the Competent Authority, which subsequently submitted its report to the Central Government under sub-section (1) of section 3D. Upon publication of this current notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the annexed Schedule, totaling 0.4688 hectares across villages Dabla Meena, Jirawali, and Kothi Narayanpur in Rajgarh Taluk, Alwar District, Rajasthan, shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act. NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd April, 2026
S.O. 2025(E).— Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport
and Highways, 5339-E Dated:21/11/2025, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-
section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter
referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule
annexed to the said notification for construction of 2 lane to 4 lane road, Maintenance, management and operation
of NH921 in the stretch of land from Km. 0.00 to Km. 50.246 in the district of ALWAR in the state of RAJASTHAN
And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in "The Indian Express" dated
24/12/2025, "Desh ki Udan Patrika" dated 16/12/2025; under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act;
And whereas the Competent Authority has received objections filed under Section 3-C, considered and settled
the same appropriately;
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land
specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest
absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
