No. NHAI/PIU-Indore/IndoreRingRoad/Eastern-Bypass/2023/232938], in exercise of powers under clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), authorising Sub Divisional Officers (Revenue) named in the annexed Schedule as Competent Authorities to perform functions under the Act, effective from publication, for building (widening/four/six-laning), maintenance, management and operation of the Eastern Ring Road around Indore city from Km 64.400 to Km 140.388 in Madhya Pradesh; the Schedule spans six stretches across Dewas and Indore districts (talukas Dewas, Sanwer, Kanadiya, Khudail, Bhicholi Hapsi and Mhow), covering numerous named villages such as Sukalya, Bisa Khedi, Khatipiplya, Khudel Khurd, Tillor Buzurg and Akawi; signed by Abhay Jain, Deputy Secretary.
