[F.No. NH-14013/14/2024-P&M(Pt)] ABHAY JAIN, Director NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 13th December, 2024 S.O. 5422(E)-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby directs that the functions in relation to the execution of works pertaining to each of the National Highways described in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be exercisable by the State Government specified in column (3) of the Table against each highway subject to the condition that the State Government concerned shall in the exercise of such functions be bound to comply with the rules for the time being in force under the said Act and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways (Department of Road Transport and Highways) number S.O 1096(E), dated the 4th August, 2005, namely:- In the said notification, in the Schedule, for serial number 13 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely: - TABLE (1) | (2) | (3) "13" | So much of National Highways No. 7 [excluding from Km. 243.600 to Km. 651.500 (Rewa to Katni to Madhya Pradesh/Maharashtra Border)], No.12 [excluding from km 315.725 to km 421.325 (Bhopal Bioara Section) and from Km. 66.000 to Km. 130.424 (Hiran river to Sindoor river section) ], No. 12A [excluding from Km 89.600-Km-192.400 (Mandla-Chilpi Section) and (Damoh – Jabalpur - Barela Section 122.800 km) ], No. 26A, No. 27, No. 59 [excluding from km. 9.500 to km. 171.000 (Indore- Jhabua- MP/Gujarat Border)], No. 69 [excluding from km. 0.60 to km. 8.300 and from Km. 8.400 to km. 20.700 (Ratapani section) and from km. 20.700 to km. 256.400], No.75 [excluding from km. 0.000 to km. 85.000 of Gwalior to MP/UP Border including Gwalior bypass of Gwalior-Jhansi Section and from 2.800 to km 83.400 (Rewa-Sidhi section) and from km. 6.500 to km. 12.000 and from km. 24.000 to 33.390 and from km. 40.225 to km. 41.350 and from km. 43.240 to km. 44.432 and from km. 82.100 to km.108.000 (Jhansi- Nowgaon Section) and from km. 0.000 | State Government of Madhya Pradesh.".
