1907 GI/202 4 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY (1) (2) (3) No. 1270] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY , MARCH 1 4, 2024 /PHALGUNA 24, 1945 CG-DL-E-14032024-252913 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 11th March , 2024 S.O. 1335(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby directs that the functions in relation to the execution of works pertaining to each of the National Highways described in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be exercisable by the State Government specified in column (3) of the Table against each highway subject to the condition that the Stat e Government concerned shall in the exercise of such functions be bound to comply with the rules for the time being in force under the said Act and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in th e erstwhile Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways (Department of Road Transport and Highways) number S.O 1096(E), dated the 4th August, 2005, namely: - In the said notification, in the Schedule, for serial number 4 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely: - TABLE (1) (2) (3) “4 So much of National Highways No.2C, No. 19 [excluding from Km. 143.200 to Km. 207.200 (Chhapara - Hajipur) and Km. 128.713 to Km. 131.500 (UP/ Bihar border to Rawalganj Bypass section) ], No. 28B, No.30A, No. 80 [excluding from km.1.430 to km.190.000 (Mokama -Munger -Mirzachowki section)], No.81, No.82 [excluding from Km. 95.000 to Km. 149.020 (Biharsharif -Barbigha -Mokama section)], No. 98 [excluding portion of proposed Hariharganj bypass in the state of Bihar)], No. 99, No. 101, No. 103, No. 104, No. 105, No. 106, No. 110, new National Highway number 333 [the highway starting from Bariyarpur on NH-33 (new number) connecting Kharagpur, Laxmipur, Jamui, Chakai], new National Highway number 327 Extension [excluding from Ch. 00.000 km to Ch. 93.983 km (Galgalia - Bhadurganj - Araria section) and Parsarma - Bangaon - Mahishi section (29.60 km)], new National Highway number 131A [the Highway starting from Malda, connecting Ratua and Debipur in the State of West Bengal, connecting Amdabad, Manihari, Katihar on NH31 and terminating at Purnia on NH -27 (new number)], new NH No. 120, new NH No. 122A, new NH No. 122B, new NH No 124C, new NH No 131B, new NH No. 133, new NH No 133E, new NH No. 219, new NH No. 227A, new NH No. 227F, new NH No. 319A, new NH No. 322 (Extended part from junction with NH -122 near Mushrigharari to junction with NH -27 near Bela Nawada) , new NH No. 327A, new NH No. 327AD, new NH No. 333A, new NH No 333C , new NH No. 13 9W [(excluding from Bakarpur to Areraj section], new NH No. 527A [excluding from Rahika (Pokhrauni) - Madhubani - Rampatti section and from Bideshwar asthan - Laufa - Bheja near West Kosi River Bandh section], new National Highway number 527E, new NH No. 727A, new NH No. 727AA and new NH No. 727B as are situated within the State of Bihar. (3) 131.500 NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 11th March , 2024 S.O. 1336(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the National Highways Authority of India Act, 1988 (68 of 1988), the Central Government hereby entrusts the stretch of national Highways, as specified in column (3) of the Table below, of the section as specified in column (2) of the National Highways as specified in the corres ponding entry in column (1) of the said Table, to the National Highways Authority of India, namely: - TABLE National Highways No. (1) Section of National Highways (2) Chainage/ length in km (3) NH-31 (old NH -19) UP/ Bihar border to Rawalganj Bypass section (In the state of Bihar) Km. 128.713 to Km. 131.500 [F.
