Vide S.O. 3263(E) dated 12th August 2024, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, exercising powers under clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), authorized the officer named in the annexed Schedule to perform the functions of Competent Authority under the Act, with effect from publication of the notification, for the land specified in the corresponding Schedule entry relating to the stretch of km. 340.25 to 372.2 of Bhusanpadan Bhavan, Sadar Bazar, Satara (NH160 Ext.), for upgradation to 2-laning with paved shoulders, in the State of Maharashtra. The Schedule designates the Deputy Collector, Land Acquisition No. 21, Satara, as the Competent Authority for the entire stretch, covering Satara district, Taluks Man and Khatav, and the villages of Dahiwadi, Pingli (Bk.), Pingali Kh., Tadavale, Bombale, Katarkhatav, Banpuri, Suryachiwadi, Dhondewadi and Mayani.
