(1) (2) (3) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 4th July, 2023 S.O. 2934 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Centr al Government hereby directs that the functions in relation to the execution of works pertaining to each of the National Highways described in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be exercisable by the State Government specified in column (3) of th e Table against each highway subject to the condition that the State Government concerned shall in the exercise of such functions be bound to comply with the rules for the time being in force under the said Act and for that purpose makes the following furt her amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways (Department of Road Transport and Highways) number S.O 1096(E), dated the 4th August, 2005, namely: - In the said notification, in the Schedule, for serial number 10 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely: - TABLE (1) (2) (3) “10 So much of National Highways No.23 [excluding from km. 0.000 to km. 81.200 (Chas - Ramgarh sect ion) and from km 2.90 to km 88.000 (Ranchi - Gumla Section)], No.75 [excluding from km. 0.000 to km. 259.000 (Ranchi -Nagar Utari section)], Extension of No.75, No.78, No. 98 [Excluding from Km. 23.284 to Km. 57.049 (Hariharganj -Shildag section of Aurangabad – Parwa More section), No.99, No.100, new NH No.114A [excluding from Km. 85.081 to Km. 130.240 (Basukinath - Deoghar section )], new NH No.133 [excluding from Km. 41.900 to km. 93.000 (Mahagama -Hansdiha section)], new NH No. 43, new NH No. 133A, new NH No. 143A, new NH No. 143B, new NH No. 218, new NH No. 220, new NH No. 133B, new NH No. 143AG [excluding from Khunti to Tamar section], new NH No. 320D, new NH No. 320G, new NH No. 333, new NH No. 333A, new NH No. 343 and new NH No. 419 as are situated within th e State of Jharkhand.
