                Detailed Summary
            

            
The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, via Notification S.O. 3483(E) dated 19th June, 2026, declares the Government of India's intention to acquire the Right of User in land. This acquisition is deemed necessary in public interest for the laying of a natural gas pipeline by GAIL (India) Limited. The pipeline is intended for the transportation of natural gas originating from the Hazira–Vijaipur-Jagdishpur-GREP-Dahej-Vijaipur (HVJ-GREP-DVPL) Natural Gas pipeline, specifically from Vijaipur Terminal to the BPCL Bina Refinery in the State of Madhya Pradesh. This action is exercised under the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962). The land parcels for which the Right of User is to be acquired are detailed in the annexed Schedule, encompassing various survey numbers across villages such as Keshlon, Laxmipura, Chamrai, Bila Khedi, Bila Kheda, Barkheda Athai, Khaklon, Damdama, and Tetore, all within Bahadurpur Tehsil, Ashok Nagar District, Madhya Pradesh, with total areas specified for each village. Any person interested in the described land may submit written objections within twenty-one days from the notification's public availability to the Competent Authority, GAIL (India) Limited, located at the Additional Collector, District - Guna, Madhya Pradesh. NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th June, 2026
S.O. 3483(E).— Whereas it appears to the Government of India that it is necessary in public interest
that for transportation of natural gas originating from Hazira–Vijaipur-Jagdishpur-GREP-Dahej-Vijaipur
(HVJ-GREP-DVPL) Natural Gas pipeline in State of Madhya Pradesh From Vijaipur Terminal to BPCL
Bina Refinery Pipeline should be laid by GAIL (India) Limited.
And, whereas it appears to Government of India that for the purpose of laying the said pipeline, it is
necessary to acquire the Right of User in the land under which the said pipeline is proposed to be laid, and
which is described in the Schedule annexed to this notification.
Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the petroleum and
Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962, (50 of 1962) Government of India
hereby declares its intention to acquire the Right of User therein.
Any person interested in the land described in the said Schedule may, within twenty one days from
the date of which the copies of the notification issued under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the said Act, as
published in the Gazette of India are made available to the general public, object in writing to the acquisition
of the Right of User therein for laying of the pipeline under the land to Competent Authority GAIL (India)
Limited, State of Madhya Pradesh (Address: Additional Collector, District - Guna, Madhya Pradesh).
