These officers are empowered to perform functions under the said Act for land acquisition related to the building (including widening/four-laning), maintenance, management, and operation of National Highway NH753B in the State of Gujarat. Specifically, this applies to the stretch from Km. 118.745 to Km. 162.840 in Narmada district and from Km. 162.840 to Km. 175.100 in Bharuch District. The land acquisition covers numerous villages across Dediapada, Sagbara, and Chikda taluks/mandals in Narmada district, and Netrang taluk/mandal in Bharuch district, as detailed in the annexed Schedule.
