The Central Government declares its intention to acquire land in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, for the building, maintenance, management, and operation of a highway project under the National Highways Act, 1956.

The Central Government authorizes competent authorities under Section 3(a) of the National Highways Act, 1956, for land acquisition, building, maintenance, management, and operation of the Bairiya-Arrah National Highway in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Final declaration under sub-section (1) of section 3D of the National Highways Act, 1956 that land specified in earlier notifications (dated 13 April 2023 and 17 May 2023) is to be acquired for widening/four-laning of NH31 (including the Buxar spur) in Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh, vesting absolutely in the Central Government upon publication.
