The Central Government declares its intention to acquire land in Araria district, Bihar, for the building, maintenance, management, and operation of National Highway 327E.

The Central Government, under sub-sections (1) and (4) of section 6 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962, declares acquisition of the right of user in land for the Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda Natural Gas Pipeline Project (Nagpur-Jharsuguda Section) across four districts of Chhattisgarh, vesting that right in GAIL (India) Limited.

The Central Government authorizes District Land Acquisition Officers as competent authorities under section 3(a) of the National Highways Act, 1956 for land acquisition and related functions on specific stretches of NH327E in Bihar.
