The Central Government declares its intention to acquire land for the development, maintenance, management, and operation of a High-Speed access-controlled Corridor from Panipat-Gorakhpur (Shamli-Kheri Phase-1).

The Central Government authorizes specific officers as competent authorities under the National Highways Act, 1956, for a designated stretch of the Panipat to Gorakhpur Greenfield High-Speed access-controlled Corridor in Uttar Pradesh.

The Central Government, in exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956, authorizes specified officers as competent authorities to perform functions under the said Act for the development of the Panipat-Gorakhpur High-Speed access-controlled Corridor in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
